Co-Owner Audrey McGirt

Audrey McGirt is the Director of Lilies of Hope Home Care, LLC. Companionship is not only a career but a life changing experience that I have come to enjoy.  Taking care of individuals who need special attention requires not only a special skill but also a special calling of compassion. A willingness to go above and beyond to ensure they have the best supportive care.  I have over 10 years of experience in home health.  I assist clients with their basic daily functions.  I understand what it takes for clients to feel comfortable, placing their faith in me.

I was born in the rural area of North Carolina in a loving family of four girls. I have one son and three granddaughters. I have previous personal experience running a corporation and implementing rules and regulations put in place by the federal and local government agencies. During this time the seed was planted for LHHC when my mother became ill.  She was in effect my first client and staunchest supporter. While caring for and learning from her, I developed the central mission statement of LHHC. Consider the Lilies, Planted in the garden of God and tended by “His” special messengers.  I graduated from high school. I received an Associate Degree is Science from Montreat-Anderson College, Montreat, NC. I did further studies at St. Andrews Presbyterian University, Laurinburg, NC and UNC-Pembroke, Pembroke, NC.  I attended the Home Care Licensure Training in Raleigh at the Association for Home and Hospice Care of NC.

Co-Owner Martha Hunt

Hunt, Supervisor, native of Pembroke, NC will have administrative responsibility for the operation of the agency in the absence of the director.  She is responsible for the management and supervision of the caregivers.   She is responsible for the effective and efficient use of all resources in carrying out the organization’s purpose.
